Kal graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1994 and has been an important part of the team at Sunridge Dental Clinic since 1998. She is our Hygiene Coordinator and takes great pride in leading our amazing hygiene team! Her main goal within the hygiene department is that every patient leaves the office educated and in better dental health. Her attention to detail and patient comfort are two of her best attributes.
In her personal life, Kal loves spending time with her husband, her two children and simply enjoying life to the fullest. Kal is dedicated to both her family and her career, and it shows in how she is able to balance her time equally. As a hygienist, she remains up-to-date through continuing education courses. Our patients and staff agree that Kal is irreplaceable.
Navi was a dental assistant before pursuing her career in dental hygiene in 2009. She finds her position rewarding as she is able to educate and help patients, providing them tools to achieve optimal oral health. She strives to help patients achieve a healthy smile with a gentle, but thorough touch. When Navi is not in the office, she loves spending time with her husband and two kids.
Born and raised in Calgary, Jennifer always knew she wanted a career where she could help people. However, a dental office is the very last place she thought she would end up as she was terrified of going to the dentist as a child. Jennifer considers herself blessed to be part of the Sundridge Dental team since 2010. Dental hygiene has been her passion for the past 10 years.
Another passion is her family. She cannot spend enough time with her husband Shawn and her daughter Violet. They make her heart smile!
After graduating with a B.A. in Economics, Rose worked for one year in finance but decided to change her career path and pursue a career in health science. Going into her second degree she shadowed a hygienist and discovered that this career is for her. Rose worked in Toronto for a few months before moving to Vancouver for three years and has been in Calgary since 2010. Her passion is her work and she loves helping her patients reach overall healthy gums and teeth.
Jennifer started her career in Ontario as a dental assistant at 17 and graduated Dental Hygiene from Cambrian College in Sudbury at 20. After expanding her skills and techniques for 10 years in Fort McMurray, she settled in Calgary with her family in 2015. Her passion for dental and overall health has been a driving force in her career for almost 20 years. Jennifer enjoys educating her patients as much as providing care with compassion. Jennifer is fluent in French as well as English. When not motivating the public, she loves cooking, baking, working out, hiking with the family and has recently taken up yoga.
Amanda is relatively new to the dental world. After completing her Diploma in Dental Hygiene at the Vancouver College Of Dental Hygiene in 2016, she has started her career in both BC and now in Calgary. She finds great satisfaction in helping all patients improve their health, and loves to educate others about the role dental hygiene has in overall health. Continuing to learn and grow in the profession is Amanda’s number one goal for years to come.
Thu started working at Sunridge Dental Clinic in August of 1998 and works side by side with Dr. Parmar. She enjoys working with Dr. Parmar for many reasons; one of which is because they both enjoy working with children. The flexibility in Dr. Parmar's schedule allows Thu the ability to spend valuable time with her own family and her favorite past-time - shopping.
Suneyvy graduated in the spring of 2011 with her dental assisting degree. She was new to the dental field when joining our office but had over five years experience working in customer service. She enjoys working with clients of all ages, but loves working with children the best. Suneyvy is happy to be a member of Sunridge Dental Clinic and to work along with all the great staff here. "I hope to make our patients experiences at the dental office a good one."
Crystal is born and raised in Calgary and has been a part of the Sunridge Dental team since 2012. She currently has the pleasure of assisting with Dr. Wibowo. The best part of her day is getting to interact and catch up with all the familiar and wonderful patients. She especially enjoys the orthodontic treatment they do and watching how patients’ smiles transform and get warmer. When not at work she enjoys spending time camping with her family.
Melody was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to Calgary in 2008. Melody has been a valued team member since starting at Sunridge Dental in 2013. She speaks English and Tagalog languages. Working here doesn't feel like work when you enjoy what you're doing and see that you're making a positive difference."
Nadia joined Sunridge dental shortly after graduating from KDM Dental College in 2016. Always passionate about teeth, she knew this was the right career for her. Nadia’s favourite part of her job is comforting anxious patients as well as teaching parents and children about good oral hygiene! She is Canadian born and raised and bilingual in English and Arabic. When not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and shopping (while he waits outside the stores of course).
Jacqueline recently joined the field of dentistry after graduating from CDI College in 2017 and is excited to start her career as a Dental Assistant. She loves everything about dentistry and has already learned much more since graduating. Jacqueline moved to Calgary in 2011 from Saskatchewan. When not working she likes to play basketball and go snowboarding.
Kathy graduated the dental assistant program from SAIT in June 2017. She was born in Surrey, BC but she has grown up in Calgary. She loves trying new food and appreciates anyone who shares with her their favourite restaurants or recipes when visiting the office. Kathy is great at answering any dental questions you may have so please do not hesitate to ask.
Born and raised in the Philippines, Shiela started working as our sterilization and hygiene assistant in October of 2015. “Working in a dental office was a huge challenge because I had no experience in the dental industry but with the help of my colleagues I manage to get my job done no matter how hard the situation is. In the future I want to be one of the dental assistants.” Outside of work, Shiela has found an interest in photography and recently started hiking.
